Orders and fulfillment in one workspace, with shipments, discount codes, gift cards, loyalty, reviews and in-person payments.
Sales is where an order lives from the moment it is placed to the moment it is delivered and paid for. It also holds the levers you pull to sell more — discounts, gift cards, loyalty — because in practice those are part of the order, not a separate marketing exercise.
Orders draw stock from inventory, bill through invoicing, settle through the payment processing set up in accounting, and belong to a contact. Your customers see their orders in the customer portal. Because fulfillment and billing are the same workspace's concern, "shipped but never invoiced" is not a state the system quietly allows.
Create an account at /setup and describe how you sell — online, in person, or both. The
point-of-sale surface lives inside sales, so a business that does both does not run two systems.
Gift cards and loyalty balances are real records with a history, which is what makes them safe to honour later. Discounts are recorded against the order they applied to, so a margin question has an answer.
