Sell services directly to your customers — they browse by category, pay online, and can enrol in recurring billing.
The marketplace is your own storefront for services, shown to your customers inside their portal. It exists so that a customer who wants to add something can buy it themselves at the moment they decide, rather than sending you a message and waiting for a quote.
A marketplace purchase writes straight through: it draws its services from your inventory catalog, raises the charge in invoicing, settles through the payment processing configured in accounting, and appears against the buying contact. A recurring purchase becomes a billing schedule, and the customer can see and manage it from their portal.
Create an account at /setup and describe the services you would be happy for a customer to buy
without talking to you first. Those are the ones worth publishing. Connect payment processing in
accounting so purchases can be paid at the moment they are made.
Your customers only ever see your marketplace — this is a storefront you own inside your own portal, not a shared listing site where ThothOS puts your services next to somebody else's.
