Billing, payment processing, purchased services and tax configuration, sharing one ledger with invoicing and sales.
Accounting is where the money side of your company is configured and reconciled. It is not a separate book you have to keep in step with the rest of the business — it reads the same records your invoices, orders and marketplace purchases write, so a payment taken anywhere in the platform lands in one ledger.
Invoicing raises the charge, sales and marketplace take the order, and accounting is where the processing, the tax treatment and the settlement account are decided. Because every one of those surfaces is reading the same customer and product records, a change in one place does not need to be re-keyed anywhere else. Customer-facing balances shown in the customer portal come from the same data, so what your customer sees and what you see cannot drift apart.
Create an account at /setup. The AI interview asks what your business does and assembles a
workspace to match; if you take money from customers, accounting is part of that first build. You
can also add it later — describing what you need is how every capability gets turned on.
Card processing requires connecting a payment processor account of your own; ThothOS does not hold your funds. Tax rates are yours to configure — the platform applies the rules you set rather than asserting a tax position on your behalf.
