Your company's structure and settings in one place — team management, departments and positions, and the configuration the other workspaces read.
Organization is where your company describes itself to the platform. Who works here, how they are grouped, what they are called, and the settings that shape how everything else behaves. It is the workspace you touch least often and depend on most.
Departments and positions are the vocabulary permissions are written in, so granting access to a department is possible instead of granting it to eleven individuals and forgetting the twelfth. Adding a person here gives them their employee portal automatically. Contacts holds the people outside your company; organization holds the people inside it.
Create an account at /setup. The AI interview asks about your business and its shape, and the
organisation workspace is where that shape is recorded and afterwards edited. Adding your team is
usually the first thing worth doing once the workspace exists.
Your company's data is confined to your company. The organisation record is what a tenant boundary is drawn around — one company's employees, departments and settings are never visible to another company on the platform.
