Companies, people and locations in one record of truth, shared by sales, invoicing, scheduling and support.
Contacts is where the people and organisations you deal with live. It holds three related things — companies, the people who work at them, and the locations involved — so an address is attached to the thing it belongs to rather than retyped into every document that needs it.
This is the record other workspaces read. An invoice is addressed to a contact; a booking is made with a contact; a support ticket is raised by a contact; a marketing campaign is sent to a segment of contacts. Correcting an email address once corrects it everywhere, because there is one record rather than a copy per workspace.
Create an account at /setup. Contacts is part of essentially every workspace the AI interview
assembles, because almost nothing a business does is unattached to a person or a company.
Your customers' own logins to the customer portal are tied to these records, so a contact is not merely an address book entry — it is the identity behind what that customer can see. Deleting one is treated accordingly.
